About the Departments: ITThe IT Department is a team consisting
of dedicated IT professionals with over two decades of

of several teams, which include the below:
- Product: The team creates innovative solutions that delight
users and drive business growth by turning insights into impactful
products.
- Project Management (PMO): The PMO drives strategic alignment
and execution excellence, empowering teams to deliver projects on
time, within scope, and with maximum impact.
- Business Intelligence & Infrastructure: The team transforms
data into actionable insights and ensures a robust, scalable
foundation for smarter, data-driven decisions across the
organization.By joining the IT team at Backroads, you'll be part of

Manager will partner closely with engineering, design, sales,
marketing, trip operations, and executive leadership to scale and
enhance Backroads' product ecosystem. This is a high-impact,
high-visibility opportunity to drive key initiatives that directly
influence the company's growth and operational excellence.We are
looking for a collaborative, strategic thinker with a passion for
delivering customer-centric solutions and a track record of success
in managing multi-product platforms, stakeholder alignment, and
technology-driven operational improvements.Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on product strategy and roadmap development for one
or more key product areas.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to define
detailed product requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Partner with trip operations, marketing, sales, and customer
support teams to gather insights, validate initiatives, and ensure
product-market fit.
- Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market
trends to inform decisions and iterate on products.
- Drive operational efficiency by identifying and implementing
scalable technology solutions.
- Present strategies, updates, and recommendations to executive
leadership and key stakeholders.Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally across
multiple products or platforms.
- Proven success collaborating across engineering, design,
marketing, and operations teams.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive
product decisions.
- Experience in the travel, logistics, e-commerce, or
operations-focused industries preferred.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management
skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in fast-paced,
cross-functional environments.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.About

for all employees.Salary Ranges:$155,000.00 - $195,000.00At
Backroads, we uphold a commitment to transparency and fairness
within our hiring process, particularly regarding compensation. The
salary range posted for each role applies to both employment offers
and employees actively working in the role.New hires are typically
offered a starting salary between the minimum and midpoint of the
range to ensure there is continued opportunity for salary
progression during your employment at Backroads, reflecting our
commitment to rewarding ongoing dedication, high performance, and
significant contributions to our team. This approach not only
supports our budgeting strategy but also our intention to foster an
environment that encourages long-term growth and strong

roles are onsite in our Berkeley headquarters, unless specifically
noted as 'available for remote'. We do allow one work-from-home day
a week, as well as one work-from-anywhere week per year. This pay
range is intended for in-person work in our Berkeley, CA
headquarters. Pay ranges for remote-eligible roles will be subject
to adjustment based on the geolocation of the employee.FROM OUR
