Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery License: Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS certification Job Description: - Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery. - Monitor the health status of patients and administer necessary treatments. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality maternal and child health care. - Educate patients and families about labor and delivery processes and postnatal care. - Perform and assist with high-risk deliveries, ensuring patient and fetal safety. - Maintain accurate patient records and document care provided. - Demonstrate strong clinical skills in managing labor and delivery emergencies.
