Job Title: Maternal Child Health (MCH) Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: - Minimum of 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience - Graduate of an accredited nursing program License: - Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: - ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide exceptional nursing care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery - Monitor and assess the well-being of mothers and newborns - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care - Educate patients and families on post-delivery care and newborn health - Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient records - Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for patient care - Demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field - Five plus years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery - One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience - High Risk OB experience preferred
