Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in labor and delivery required. Preferred: Five plus years of recent labor and delivery experience. High-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years is preferred. License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a labor and delivery setting. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective care for high-risk pregnancies. - Demonstrate proficiency in managing complications during labor and delivery. - Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. - Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. - Adhere to evidence-based practices and protocols. - Participate in continuous education and training to stay current in the specialty.
