Job Title: Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery - Critical Need Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: - Basic Life Support - Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: ACLS Certification Job Description: - Provide high-quality nursing care to maternal and child health patients - Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions during labor and delivery - Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care - Administer medication and treatments as prescribed - Support patients and families with education and emotional support - Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards - Maintain accurate patient records and documentation - Participate in continuous education and training for skill enhancement Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field - Five plus years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery - One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years - High Risk OB experience is preferred
