Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Sharepoint guru to join their
Content Entry, Maintenance and Support team, this individual is
responsible for both designing/creating and /or updating content on
the internal the DSS SharePoint 2010 site, including implementing
data entry forms capabilities. They must also extract and integrate
information from a variety of internal vendor-based applications
(including Clarity, ClearQuest, STAMP and PlanView) and transform
it into various Microsoft applications (XL, ACCESS,PPT) for
on-going performance reporting and product planning purposes. As
such this individual will conduct a variety of activities, which
comprise of:
• Gathering, creating and/or verifying robust and complex
maintenance requirements form supporting multiple platforms;
• Maintaining, designing, and enhancing an existing SharePoint
2010/InfoPath site with new/updated online forms, library and
workflow (emails and automation) and to extend the existing form to
support additional functional areas;
• Delivering changes/enhancements on time, on budget and within
agreed upon scope, risk and quality parameters;
• Providing detailed impact assessments for each change;
• Being available to work outside of normal business hours to
deploy changes to production;
• Administering SharePoint 2010 site, with a user base of
approximately 200 – 400 users, including customer support for form
submitters , translating questions and comments into new
requirements where necessary;
• Ability to troubleshoot forms, libraries, lists, data connections
and workflows;
• Creating robust extract process from a variety of data sources to
be presented online using standard Office tools
• Taking ownership of assigned tasks and managing them according to
the business priority and impact;
• Regularly communicating status through reports, regular triage
and sponsors meetings, as needed.
