Well established insurance company seeks a Senior Underwriter to underwrite Personal Grooming & Fitness Businesses Excess & Surplus Property & Casualty accounts.

--- Cosmetologists & Estheticians

--- Massage Parlor & Masseuses

--- Barber Shops

--- Personal Trainers

--- Gyms & Fitness Centers

--- Boutique Health Clubs

--- Pilate, Yoga & Dance Studios

Coverages:

--- General liability

--- Property

--- Workers Compensation

--- Business Auto & Equipment

--- Employment Practices

--- Errors & Omissions and Management Risks

--- Crime

--- Environmental

--- Umbrella

Duties:

*** Review, negotiate, and accept or decline submissions.

*** Evaluate risks.

*** Develop and revise contract wordings.

*** Build and maintain relationships with brokers and agents.

*** Assist with reinsurance purchases.

*** Audit underwriting files, analyze, and manage loss ratios to ensure profitability of book of business.

*** Support management with annual business plan.

Experience Sought:

*** Bachelors degree.

*** 7+ years of experience underwriting commercial insurance.

*** Expertise in customizing coverage solutions for various line of business.
